Description

An image of Dust from Dino Attack RPG. This would be his appearance after he left Outpost 108 with Rockford on the way to the temple of Hotep III. Off course that went horribly and he was waring this arrangement when he eventually went rouge. At this stage he still was trying hard to keep himself distant from the team and kept his face completely covered in hope of remaining detached. He would continue to ware the goggles and bandana until Lutsky removed them at the rear guard camp.

The poncho here is based on the one worn by Luke Skywalker on Endor (That was the body I used when building his minifigure). His build is smaller then previous drawing of him but I never envisioned his stature as intimidating. What made him dangerous was his mind.

Actually this was drawn in class today on the back of my English study guide.

I'm so glad you feel that way about my writing. I'm very proud of what I accomplished during my time playing the RPG. I even mentioned the work in my college résumé! LOST was a huge inspiration when writing, the unique way the show told it's story and developed it's characters influenced me to attempt my own complex ideas. LOST is known for it's flashbacks and character connections and I've utilized both of them when writing. I would never do something as cheep as bringing Dust back but I've found using him in flashbacks is a great way to keep him alive. It also helps creates a neat set of connections. Right now I'm working on a spread sheet to illustrate the connections the characters shared before the war.

This is hardly my first drawing of Dust but it is certainly the best. I had a hard time with the feet and poncho in previous attempts but I think I did pretty well this time. I think I might draw a picture of his exposed face sometime latter. I also have some projects in mind to do in my art class including Solomon in the ran, Pharisee in the bowling ally, and Hertz in the devastated game room. I also hope to convert a fraction of the RPG into a few pages of a graphic novel.
